Lookout Society
The Lookout Society, commonly known by the plural term for its members, Eloah's Watchers, is a restorationist denomination of Soterianity that emerged in the Newhaven region of northern Esmaria over a century prior to the Twilight War. Known for their evangelic tendencies, they reject many tenets of traditional Soterianity (namely trinitarianism) and espouse conscientious objection to civil respect or military service in political entities. This has caused the religion to be seen as ultimately seditious by many nations, leading to outright bans to practice the faith in certain countries.
Many claim the religion to be apocalypticist in nature, with the Lookout Society making several claims of diathecal events that will herald the Second Coming of Soter and the end of the world. Eloah's Watchers has been noted to have taken a significant hit by the passing of the Twilight War and the unfulfillment of its predictions.
