Caeteguaçu is a state in western Ancoria. Located along the southern shores of the Paraguaçu Sea and the middle reaches of the southern Coari Rainforest, it is bordered to the north by Coari and to the east by Natalândia, with international borders with the State of Yucay and the Kingdom of Guasuguay.
One of the less populous states of the Federation, it remained as an uncertain frontier for much of its history, with the vast majority of its municipalities having been founded in the past 200 years. A major route in Ancoria's highway network, the AN-366 runs through the state, to which trucking is a significant part of the state economy. Under the present constitution, many stretches of land within the state have been set aside as federally-recognized lands for local indigenous peoples.
