Aliyatar is a religion originating in South Asteria that is unified by the concepts and values expounded in the Arivas. At its core, Aliyatar emphasizes dharma (cosmic law), karma (action and consequence), samsara (the cycle of rebirth), and the spiritual goal of moksha (liberation from this cycle).

Aliyatar envisions the universe as cyclically created and destroyed through vast epochs (yuga) within larger cosmic cycles (kalpa), presided over by a triad of Namukha (creator), Permala (preserver), and Kuta (destroyer). The universe is composed of multiple realms, emanating from Maiporulu (ultimate reality). In addition, the mother goddess Maryama also plays a major role within this cosmology. Major Aliyati devotional currents are Pairmalism, Kautism, Maryamism, and Nainavism.

Due to its decentralized nature, Aliyati faith has a multitude of denominations beyond even the four major undercurrents from millennia of persistence within South Asterian communities. Within the last century, however, centralization of religious authority in the Union State and Saribumi alike have greatly damaged the independent practice of Aliyatar within its endemic territories. Many Aliyatis have thus chosen to emigrate, spreading Aliyatar's presence through small communities across the various blocs.
