Caldeckist Spiritism
Caldeckist spiritism, also known as Caldeckism or Spiritism, is a reincarnationist and spiritualist movement formed in Eurysia, considered to be derived from Soterianity.
The central belief of Caldeckist spiritism is that the spirit is to inevitably return to the mundane realm after the death of the prior body to which it inhabited, undergoing spiritual evolution as a result. Espousing both belief in one God and in reincarnation, Spiritists hold to how each incarnation provides opportunities to learn from one's past actions and advance towards the spiritual perfection that God wishes for them. Mediums can be used to communicate between the living and the dead.
The largest body of Caldeckist adherents exists in Ancoria. The faith does not generally maintain formal priesthoods or rituals and instead orients towards charity and self-improvement. Although based heavily on Soterian theology, its core tenets stray away from normal Soterian interpretations on salvation and as a result is often categorized as a non-Soterian religion.
