Tenge Shōshū
Tenge Shōshū (Tenzanese: 天華正宗) is a Tengeshū sect that regards the Mahamandala (Tenzanese: 摩訶曼荼羅 Makamandara), an inscription by Tenge, as the supreme object of devotion. The sect places emphasis in the role of one central, hereditary high priest as the only legitimate inheritor of Tenge, the final Prajna, whose teachings have surpassed those of the Saura Prajna in the moral decline phase of this eon; these traits together distinguish the sect from other Tengeshū varieties.
Tenge Shōshū promotes itself, and adherence to its doctrinal purism, as the only correct form of religious practice. As a centralized congregation, it has been accused of exclusivist rigidity and authoritarianism by outsiders, and former affiliates such as the Zochi Gakushu.
