The Proletarian State of Siricosta is a unitary labourist republic located east of the continent of Zanobia, situated on an island chain located between Kilimambuni and Glendresia on the northern edge of the Zanobian Ocean. Siricosta's geography has long positioned its islands to serve as a cosmopolitan and prosperous center of trade, but they serve an equally important role militarily, as the Union State has invested diplomatic, economic and military resources into supporting the Siricostan regime and maintaining warm relations between the two countries, ensuring the security of a portion of the Union State's southern flank. While the fiercely nationalist government of Siricosta has invested heavily into pursuing industrial development in recent years, the country's economy still remains greatly dependent on agriculture and resource extraction, with an underdeveloped tourism sector.
