Rinnokyo (Tenzanese: 倫王敎 Rinnōkyō) is a monotheistic faith centered on the veneration of Rinno Daisoten (倫王大祖天 Rinnō Daisoten), more simply Rinno (倫王 Rinnō), the embodiment of a cosmic duality. According to Rinnokyo teachings, the first humans in the godly age, the man Fushiki and woman Menari, anthropomorphize complementary forces of creation: Menari as the nurturing origin of life, and Fushiki as the agent of renewal. Together, they model yin-yang, the harmonious balance that sustains all existence, and guide human beings toward positive energy (陽氣 yōki)—sincere living, mutual respect, and spiritual fulfillment.
The religion was founded by the Abbess Mother, Uzan'in (宇山院). Her revelations, preserved in the text of the Gohitto (御筆頭 Gohittō), articulate the divine will; she also passed down the ritual dance and song performance that reenacts primordial harmony, by embodying the interplay of cosmic energies.
Within the religion is an emphasis on joyous living through service to the community, family harmony, and spiritual healing, all understood as expressions of alignment with Rinno's dual nature. Marriage and community life are viewed as reflections of Fushiki and Menari's unity, and followers are encouraged to cultivate personal and social harmony. Illness and hardship are interpreted as disruptions to this balance, remediable through sincere prayer and ethical conduct.
Rinnokyo is noteworthy for having the town it's headquartered in, Gorin City in Uyama Domain, be renamed for the religion.
