Lebusia, officially the Lebusian Commonwealth, is a federal parliamentary republic located in eastern Eurysia. Lebusia is comprised of 5 constituent republics, which represent each of Lebusia's distinct and significant ethnic groups, the largest of which is Betania, which constitutes a majority of Lebusia's land area and population. As one of the Coalition's two 'Eastern Flank' member-states on the Eurysian continent, Lebusia is considered to be a strategically crucial region, and is host to a significant amount of Coalition military infrastructure and garrison forces. Aside from its military importance, Lebusia is a center of heavy industry within the Coalition, and its corporations possess significant market share in sectors such as electronics, automobile and machinery manufacturing. Since the 0040s R.C. politics in Lebusia has largely been defined by the continual dominance of right-wing and reactionary forces, which possess popular appeal within Lebusian society, though internal feuding within the ruling coalition of parties is common.
