The Faynon Federal District was formed by the Union State as a special administrative unit spanning Phainon, its various moons, and all of their Laplace points. As of 0119 R.C., however, it mostly exists as an administrative shell for the subordinate Apason Krai, which possesses jurisdiction over Faynon's L5 point as well as the Union State's territorial holdings on the moon of Apason. Though plans were made to establish habitats in Phainon's L4 Laplace point, they were cancelled following the outbreak of the Colony War as resources were diverted, and have not been revisited since.
