The People's State of Baladissumal is a republic located on the eastern coast of Zanobia along the South Magnirimanean Sea, bordering Sumaladesha and Guesia in addition to a military enclave leased to the Coalition Forces Authority. Based upon on the pan-Zanobian ideology of Epanastasis, Baladissumal is officially a direct democracy governed by a tricameral Revolutionary People's Council, organized along the lines of the Masician model. Although Baladissumal is considered to be firmly within the Union State's sphere of influence, many regional powers have sought friendly relations with the Sumali regime owing to its strategic position, with the most notable success being the 0094 Hemeja Agreement, in which the Coalition was leased the territory of Awdal Base for 99 years in exchange for significant investments into Baladissumal's infrastructure.
