Pairmalism is the largest tradition within Aliyatar by adherents. It centers devotion on Permala, the preserver god in the Aliyati supreme triumvirate, and his various avatars. The tradition emphasizes devotional love, personal relationship with the divine, and salvation through grace. Theologically, Permala is viewed as one with Maiporulu, who incarnates periodically to restore cosmic law. Pairmalism tends to both be theistic, and draw a clear distinction between Maiporulu and the self.
