Hiragaurava Nirvanism is a form of esoteric Nirvanism that emphasizes rituals, mantras, visualization and symbolic practices to achieve swift enlightenment within a single lifetime. It incorporates tantric methods believed to transform ordinary experiences into paths of awakening, often with the guidance of a guru. Hiragaurava practices are secretive by design, requiring proper transmission and ethical grounding. Due to its distinct nature, the tradition is sometimes considered its own separate branch from Mahagaurava Nirvanism.

In Topat, Hiragaurava interacted with local religious practice to give rise to Topatan Nirvanism. Jinju Nirvanism (Tenzanese: 神呪宗 Jinjushū) in Tenzan is the other, major non-Topatan Hiragaurava tradition to flourish, with its focus on esoteric ritualism, cosmic prajnas such as Ōhi Sakarani (Mahāsūrya), and aim for enlightenment not after death, but within the practitioner's body (Tenzanese: 即身成若 sokushin seinya).
