Penitent Soterianity, also known as Penitentialism, is a sect of Soterianity that originates from the TThulean Isles. Combining Soterian theology with popular figures and traditions of indigenous Thulean culture, Penitentialism harbors its own unique configuration of saints that are venerated through their own rites.

Due to the history of religious tensions within Asconia in the past, the sect sees Pietist denominations in an overall unfavorable light; Canonicism is, however, seen in a more favorable light as a result of similar theological approaches. Penitentialism is seen as neither Pietist nor Canonical, and is functionally considered its own derivative of Soterianity. Beyond Thule, it sees practice as a remnant religion in the vestiges of historical Thulean colonies.
