The West Zanobian Federation is a country located in northwestern Zanobia, bordered by Amurack and Masicia to the north, Asabad and Organa to the east, and Cuararafa to the south. De jure it is a multiethnic federation, governed by the Pan-Zanobian People's Organization, which receives significant humanitarian and military assistance from Masicia and the Union State. De facto, most of the country is controlled by breakaway states and warlords, supported either by the Commonwealth or Coalition, which have attained varying degrees of international recognition. The scale and scope of the breakdown of societal order in the West Zanobian Federation has created an acute humanitarian crisis, which has affected and destabilized many of the countries neighboring the West Zanobian Federation.
