The Vasati Development Administration, commonly referred to as Coalition Vasati or the VDA, is the development administration which governs all Coalition-controlled territory on the planet of Vasati, the fourth planet of the Solar System and the second world to be inhabited by man. Formerly presiding over almost half of Vasati, Coalition Vasati has been reduced in size by the Union State's annexation of the Mare Atargatis in 0114 R.C. and hobbled by multiple rebellions, uncontrolled corporate abuse, and persistent civil unrest. Vasati's remoteness from Plateia and the continual efforts of the Union State and the Commonwealth to destabilize the VDA have likewise contributed to the VDA's instability. Despite this, Coalition Vasati remains economically productive, boasting a large resource extraction industry receiving continuous investment, as well as potential to develop burgeoning agricultural and tourist sectors. Terraforming efforts on Vasati by the Vasati Atmospheric Development Committee (VADCOM) remain ongoing, and its population continues to grow despite the heavy burden it has bore during the Colony War and afterwards.
