The smallest member state of the [[Pan-Esmarian Commonwealth|Commonwealth]], the majority of Puerto Fe's population lives within the metropolitan area of its eponymous capital of [[Puerto Fe (city)|Puerto Fe]]. Bordered by [[Itzmilco]] to its north and [[Novadieta]] to its south, politics and economic policy especially within the impoverished republic are often driven by the sometimes contradictory influences of its neighboring states. Lacking significant quantities of natural resources or a sophisticated industrial sector, Puerto Fe's economy is primarily kept afloat by unskilled labor and Commonwealth subsidies.
