It is, by far, the most widespread interpretation of the faith in [[Zanobia]]. One of the oldest Soterian churches, Presynaitism claims apostolic descent from the first church founded in [[Mestraim]]. The Presynaitic churches operate in an autocephalous, national mode, with each being lead by a bishop of equal importance to those from fellow autocephalous churches. The largest of these is the [[Mestraic Presynaitic Church]], held to be the state church of Mestraim. Doctrinally, the Presynaitic churches only hold to a portion of Soterianity's historic ecumenical councils, breaking off following disputes with the Council of Synaus. The majority of Presynaitic adherents reside in Zanobia, but can be found in smaller diasporic communities across [[Plateia]].
