**Nyazen Nirvanism** (Tenzanese: 若禪宗 //Nyazenshū//), very commonly known as **Zen Nirvanism** (Tenzanese: 禪宗 //Zenshū//), also **Rechan Nirvanism** (Serican: 若禅宗 //Rěchánzōng//), is a Mahagaurava tradition that emphasizes direct insight into the nature of existence through meditation, simplicity, focus on everyday activity, and disciplined practice, rather than reliance on scripture. It originated in Serica, later spreading to Sirim as //Yaseonjong// (Sirimese: 若禪宗), Namea as //Nhã Thiền Tông//, and Tenzan. Different schools have divergent focal points, whether in philosophical dialogue or quiet meditation.
In Tenzan, it became especially influential among warriors, artists, and monks, and through these, had a profound impact on cultural aesthetics, influencing ink painting, garden design, tea ceremony, and martial arts—all of which reflect its values of simplicity, spontaneity, and directness. The lack of central control in the country has made Tenzan a popular religious refuge for continental Asterians, solidifying its place as a center of Zen.
