A highly lucrative source of valuable hydrocarbons, the Union State has extensive hydrocarbon collection and refining infrastructure at the eastern edge of the [[Melasia Mare]] on Apason's surface as well as logistical support facilities for its surface operations in the [[Phainon-Sol L5]] Laplace point. It has three Anaheim Cylinders ([[Tarasov]], [[Natanael, Ganjineh]]), where almost all of the entire Krai's population lives, with Tarasov being the administrative capital. There also exists a small population of around fifty thousand people living on Apason's surface, giving it a total population of 7,668,891.
