The **Kingdom of Mokunui**, or **Mokunui**, is a unitary constitutional monarchy situated in the [[West Maraustrals]] island chain dividing the [[Zanobian Ocean]] from the southern [[Austral Sea]], bordered by [[Iapaia]] and the [[Thule|Thulean]] territory of [[Pearl Atoll]] to the west, [[Kaiga Nui]] to the east, and the [[Glendresia|Glendresian]] dependency of [[Mawson Land]] to the south. Although the nations of the [[Austral Chain]] generally all maintain close relations with the [[Coalition of Congressional Nations|Coalition]], Mokunui is considered to have a particularly warm diplomatic relationship with the Coalition, and hosts a significant Coalition military presence centered around bases at [[Pu'uloa Harbor]] and the [[Vermillion Base]].
