**Eastern Soterianity** is one of the oldest denominations of [[Soterianity]] and had schismed from the [[Canonical Soterianity|Canonical Church]] as a result of theological and political disputes. The faith eventually became central to the culture of the [[Chrysonea|Chrysonean]] and [[Zalesia|Zalesian]] ethnic groups and helped to differentiate them from other non-Anatolist relatives. In the modern day, the Chrysonean and Zalesian churches are both heavily influenced by the whims of their respective states, intertwining with the state apparatus to further bolster the legitimacy of their host nations to their respective populations.
